A true creative at heart, when Max isn’t mixing drinks he can be found spinning decks at the underground music events he helps to run. Throughout his nine years bartending, Max was on the opening team of both Tiny’s Bar and Republic of Fremantle, where he still works today as Bar Manager.
What first drew you to bartending, and what keeps you passionate about it today?
As a 20 year old, I thought bartending was super cool! I have also always loved cooking and the values of hospitality. What keeps me passionate about hospo is the people I work with, the creative opportunities, and the guests I see enjoying themselves.
